West
Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association 2007 Schedule/Press Release
With
the 2007 racing season underway, the West Coast Outlaw Pro
Modified Association is pleased to announce their involvement
into the Pro Modified racing community. With the recent influx
of quality cars and teams on the West Coast, something had to be
done. Over the last 6 months, many individuals have put in hard
work, time, effort, and money into building a legitimate place
for racers to show up and have some fun. Many have tried to do
this over time on the West, but none have ever been successful,
until now. Support from racers like Ed Marx, Rod Burbage,
Ballance Racing, Randy Kay, Kirk Kuhns, Rod Peace, Jay Syversten,
Bob Bunker Jr, John Scalpi, Lee Smith, Scott Bailey, Steve
Gomez, Wayne Torkelson Jr, Jeremy Hangar, along with many
others, are helping to bring this Outlaw Pro Mod class to
fruitition. Signed race contracts with Sacramento Raceway Park,
Champion Raceway in Medford, OR, and Redding Drag Strip have
guaranteed a place to race this year with 5 races confirmed, and
more in the works at other tracks.

Growing
interest spread by word of mouth only has already led to phone
calls from teams ranging from Texas, to Alaska, and many more
along the way. 2007 is just the start for us, with many other
race tracks lined up for 2008, including Las Vegas,
Bakersfield, Boise, ID, and many others looking to join the
baddest door car class on the West Coast.
